Single Cup Coffee Makers: A Delicious Coffee Drink One at a Time

Whether you just need one cup of Joe to start the day or you are trying to limit your caffeine intake by fixing just one cup at a time, the single cup coffee makers are an excellent solution. With so many different brands of coffee makers on the market, it is hard to decide which one is best for you

As you begin to research single cup coffee makers, the first thing that you need to think about is what kind of coffee drinks you want to make. Do you like instant coffee? Are you partial to plain coffee or do you like flavored coffees better? Are lattes or cappuccinos more your style?

Different coffee makers will offer you different options as far as which kind of coffee you can make in them, so once you decide on what kind of coffee or coffee beverages you want to make, you can narrow your choices considerably. For instance if you want a coffee maker that simply does coffee and nothing else, you can purchase one of the less expensive single cup coffee makers that don't have any of the extra bells or whistles.

If you want a coffee maker that offers you more options, there are a variety of models that are available to you. One of the highest rated single cup coffee makers is the Braun Tassimo Single Serve Coffee Maker. The Tassimo comes with special discs that allow you to make coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccino and tea. When making lattes and cappuccinos, discs that contain powdered milk are included, making them taste more authentic. All you have to do is insert the disc and push a button. Once the coffee maker is paid for (it averages around $170), you can drink coffee for about 75 cents per cup and lattes for a little over $1 per cup. This is much less than the $3-$4 you can expect to spend at a coffee shop.

In addition to the Tassimo, there are many other highly rated single serve coffee makers on the market today. Before purchasing, it is wise to do research online to see how they are rated and what kind of coffee they can make. In addition, once you choose a particular model, be sure to research where you can purchase them and who offers the best prices. You can expect to find as much as a $25 difference in price depending on where you buy them. So, start looking online for the perfect single serve coffee maker and you will be making delicious lattes or coffee drinks in the comfort of your own home in no time.
