Here are some guidelines to follow when you are planning to travel, whether for business or pleasure. These tips will save you time and keep the system running orderly.

If you are planning on traveling while carrying gifts (perhaps to deliver to a young niece or for a friend's birthday), make sure that it is not wrapped prior to boarding the plane. Otherwise you may be delayed significantly as security may have the option of checking any wrapped items.

This goes without saying, but try not to wear anything or hold onto anything that contains metal. Following the same principles with the gift package wrapping, you do not want to be delayed from boarding your plane by triggering the metal detectors.

With security tightening and tensions running high in the global arena, these tips will surely save you time and allow you commence with life normally- or whatever semblance of normality is possible in this day and age. Have fun the best that you can!
